International Training and Consulting Centre "TEMPUS" of Tambov State Technical University
opened in April 19, 2005. Classes are held in the Centre. Calendar of the lessons and of the stage.October 14, 2005. The pilot training programme on university management has finished.
November 10, 2005. The students pass their exams.
November 11, 2005. The graduation ceremony takes place. The certificates are issued.
General Information
- International training and consulting center "TEMPUS" is organized as a center of additional professional education of specialists being an outcome of the Joint European Project TEMPUS-TACIS 23046/02 and is a structural subdivision of Tambov State Technical University.
- The full name of the centre is International Training and Consulting Centre "TEMPUS" at Tambov State Technical University, abbreviated as ITCC "TEMPUS".

Main Goals and Activities
- The Centre is a main outcome of the TEMPUS-TACIS JEP 23046/02 "TSTU Strategic Planning and Management", and its general goal is training and advanced training of personnel in the field of strategic planning, meeting the requirements of university managers in new information, best practice and foreign experience. To achieve this goal the Centre carries out the following activities:
- development and fulfillment of training and education projects, internships, seminars and consulting for university administrators attracting Russian and European teachers;
- satisfaction of demand of graduates, employees, public and private companies staff in improvement of professional skills;
- interaction with other organizations and partners, involved in this field;
- improvement of the managerial and methodological training standards, also on the basis of the European Commission references, such as "ESF - European Social Fund" standard and "CEDEFOP" (European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training) but in accordance with the Russian legislation;
- development and editing of methodological and teaching materials on strategic planning and management, fundraising, etc;
- consulting and training for the labour market;
- international activities according to the TSTU Statute.
- Realization of other activities is possible after receiving the corresponding license.
